since i'm doing so much traveling, and it's important to look wealthy when one is on the road:

i decided to get an ipad. to be fair, i actually just didn't want to drag my work and personal computers with me as i traverse the planet:

as luck would have it, i had enough credit card points to get it for free:

 but--it turns out--the only thing i want to use it for is to play plants vs. zombies 2:

and now i have a way to play it wherever i am:

but, it's not all good luck. i've become addicted, and now i can't go to sleep without seeing zombies, and i don't have enough plants in my home to protect me:
